1. Scope

This policy applies to the JTekPlus website at jtekplus.com, messages sent through its contact forms, and personal information handled during JTekPlus project inquiries or early-access participation.

JTekPlus is currently an independent technology brand and portfolio operated by Jason Caliwan in the Philippines. A separate product or customer workspace may provide additional privacy information when its features and data practices differ from those described here.

2. Information collected

Information you provide

When you contact JTekPlus, the information submitted may include your name, email address, company or organization, area of interest, and the contents of your message.

If you join a project or Payroll Cloud early-access workspace, the service may process account, company, employee, attendance, scheduling, payroll, deduction, contribution, payslip, device-integration, and support information necessary to provide the requested functions. The exact information depends on the enabled features and information entered by the participating organization and its authorized users.

Technical information

The hosting infrastructure may automatically create limited technical logs, such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. These logs support delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security.

3. How information is used

Information is used only when reasonably necessary to:

• respond to inquiries and communicate about requested projects or early access;
• provide, operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot JTekPlus services;
• authenticate users and administer participating workspaces;
• perform the payroll, attendance, reporting, or other functions selected by an organization;
• review feedback and improve reliability, usability, and features;
• prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and
• meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Operational payroll data is not treated as product feedback and will not be repurposed for unrelated marketing.

4. Sharing and disclosure

JTekPlus does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for third-party advertising.

Information may be disclosed only to service providers that support functions such as hosting, email delivery, infrastructure, backup, or security; to an organization and its authorized workspace users; when required by law or a valid legal process; or when necessary to protect users, JTekPlus, or others from harm or misuse.

Service providers are expected to handle information only for the services they provide and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Retention and security

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain necessary business or security records, or to comply with legal obligations. Retention can vary by record type, project status, contractual needs, and backup cycles.

JTekPlus uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Participating Payroll Cloud companies are designed to receive separate workspaces and separate databases. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information associated with you; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or ask questions about how your information is handled.

If your information was entered by your employer or another participating organization, that organization may be responsible for handling your request. JTekPlus may direct the request to the appropriate authorized workspace administrator.

You may also raise a concern with the Philippine National Privacy Commission when applicable.

7. Children's privacy

The public website and JTekPlus business services are not directed to children. JTekPlus does not knowingly request personal information directly from children through the public contact forms. If you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization, please contact JTekPlus so the matter can be reviewed.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as JTekPlus projects, services, or legal obligations evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published. Material changes affecting an active service may also be communicated through that service or by email when appropriate.
